Hal Habecker

Dr. Hal Habecker is the founder and president of Finishing Well Ministries, which he launched in 2015 to encourage and equip aging Christians to actively pursue God’s calling in the years ahead. A longtime pastor and ministry leader, Hal previously served 21 years as Senior Pastor of Dallas Bible Church and 14 years with the Christian Medical & Dental Associations.

He and his wife, Vicki, have 3 children and six grandchildren. Hal graduated from Taylor University, Dallas Seminary, and Denver Seminary.

Jerry Wiles

Jerry Wiles is President Emeritus of Living Water International and a longtime leader in the global Orality Movement. An author, speaker, former pastor, and ministry leader, Jerry has spent decades advancing relational approaches to evangelism, disciple-making, and leadership development around the world.

Ken Wilgus, PhD

Dr. Ken Wilgus is a licensed psychologist, author, and sought-after speaker with more than 30 years of experience. He is the author of Feeding the Mouth That Bites You and co-host of the podcast by the same name. Ken regularly speaks on parenting, marriage, family, faith, and successfully launching the next generation into adulthood.

Dr. Randy Marshall is a speaker, author, communication expert, and longtime ministry leader with more than 35 years of experience helping people grow as leaders and communicators. He also leads an intergenerational mentoring ministry at Watermark Community Church, encouraging older adults to invest their experience and faith in future generations.

MIke Grayson

Mike Grayson brings extensive experience in business leadership, operations, and organizational development. Throughout his career, he has worked with teams and leaders to navigate change, strengthen organizations, and pursue meaningful results. Mike brings a practical leadership perspective to conversations about purpose, influence, and making the years ahead count.

Make your own arrangements to come to Dallas/Plano, and we’ll take care of the rest. It’s a step of faith we’d like to take to encourage, build, and equip you in following Christ as our years advance.

This conference will focus on men and women who –

  • Identify with the vision of FWM and want to learn more about the incredible value of our aging years. What do the Scriptures teach?

  • Want to engage the7 Essentials and/or want to learn more about their impact in the church

  • Want to share the vision of FWM with your church leadership team and desire to see a more intentional ministry for aging adults in their church

  • Want to learn more about the issues facing us in our growing older years and explore options in meeting those needs

  • Want to hear from others who are leading successful ministries in their churches and share notes

​If these are your concerns and interests, this conference is for you.

​There will be major presentations on these important issues, along with breakout sessions. We will worship and fellowship together on these critical topics as we listen to and learn from one another.

Dates: November 12-14, 2026. The conference will begin on the evening of November 12 with a reception, welcome, and keynote, and will conclude at 12 noon on the 14th.

 

Place: The Hope Center • 2001 W. Plano Parkway #3439 • Plano, Texas 75075

Registration Fee: $125 per person (non-refundable after October 12, 2026), $75 per guest. Online payment is available on the registration page.

Room/Board for the 2 conference nights (Thursday and Friday) will be provided by FWM.

Registrants will make their own transportation arrangements to and from The Hope Center.
