what does the bible say?

We WILL ANTICIPATE HEAVEN - Eternity with Christ |ESSENTIAL SEVEN.
That’s what I’m looking forward to, and I believe you feel the same way. I want to be with Jesus and enjoy Him forever. But I think sometimes Christians don’t talk about heaven enough, which is really a shame because it is going to be our eternal home. Think about the last conversation you had with someone about heaven and all the joys awaiting us there, and I think you’ll see what I mean. We need to take this conversation from the funeral home to our living rooms and churche

We will PLAN AHEAD |ESSENTIAL SIX.
Consider that for a moment as we prepare to examine the sixth essential today. We state that we will plan ahead for when we will not be here. I chose this title to reflect the importance of looking ahead to the end of life and planning backward from there to today. Many wise people, including financial counselors, will tell you this is the best way to make your plans. One of these counselors happens to be King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived. The lesson we’re about to

We will BE AVAILABLE | ESSENTIAL FIVE.
What a great promise. I call this fifth essential being available, reflecting this commitment: we will be available as God calls us to serve others, develop our own gifts, and strive to develop a sense of mission and work at this season of life. Let me set the stage for his study by briefly outlining the components of what it means to be available to God and others.

We will INVEST in the generations following us.
The whole idea of investing is to pour our lives and/or resources into something for which we expect a return. I believe God wants us as agi

We will CARE FOR/LOVE OTHERS – we will be there for others in their needs.
Sometimes these barriers arise when we have the most demanding schedule. However, the significance of this third essential lies in knowing that Jesus never let anything get in the way of His mission to love and care, which means that we can love and care just as He does. He calls us to grow and connect with Him and others and pattern our lives after His example, because He wants to use us to extend His kingdom His value system, and His love and grace to others.

We will CONNECT – we will not live alone.
Relationships have deeply impacted my life. I am the man I am today because of other people who have poured their lives into mine, and other people who I have connected with. I can tell you story after story of how others have changed my life. And I don’t what that to stop.

We Will GROW – we will not stay the same.
The Scriptures validate the importance of our growth throughout life. The term Jesus used for His followers was “disciple.” This word means “student, learner, pupil,” with Jesus as the Teacher. This reflects the training process He has in mind for His disciples that lasts throughout our lives. In Luke 6.40, Jesus said, “A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been carefully trained, will be like his teacher.” There is a training process, a growing process
